I'm from Syracuse, New York, the oldest of five. I played college football, then spent years in the casino industry, where the job was reading people and taking care of them under pressure. I still work that way: I listen to the people doing the work before I touch anything.

I taught myself to build software. Then I built Alfred, my own platform, and I still run it myself.

Is there AI in it?

Where it helps, yes. A phone assistant, call summaries and first drafts you approve use AI. Anything that touches your money is built so it doesn't guess. It checks the math and sets aside what doesn't add up for a person.
